To install the JBL Professional C65P/T Compact Full-Range Hanging Pendant Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the speaker and ensure it is suitable for hanging.
2. Use the included hanging hardware, which consists of a 15-foot galvanized steel cable and an easy-to-adjust clamp, to suspend the speaker from the ceiling.
3. Connect the speaker to an amplifier or audio source using speaker wire. The speaker has two speaker terminals for easy daisy-chaining to other speakers if desired.
4. If using the speaker on a 70V/100V distributed loudspeaker line, make sure to set the transformer to the appropriate tap setting using the provided multi-tap transformer.
5. Adjust the suspension height of the speaker using the UL-listed cable fasteners for infinite adjustability.
6. Ensure that the input connectors are protected from outdoor elements if using the speaker in an outdoor application. Rubber boots are included for this purpose, and an optional terminal cover is available for harsher locations.
