Connecting the AudioRange Wireless TV Headphones to your TV is a simple process. Here are the steps:
1. Check if your TV has a headphone jack: Some TVs have a headphone jack that allows you to plug in any headphones with a standard 3.5mm audio socket. If your TV has a headphone jack, simply plug in the headphones and adjust your audio output settings to stream audio through the headphone port.
2. If your TV does not have a headphone jack: The AudioRange Wireless TV Headphones come with cables for both digital optical and analog TV hookups. You can connect the headphones to your TV using either of these options.
- For digital optical connection: Locate the digital optical audio output on your TV and connect one end of the digital optical cable to it. Then, connect the other end of the cable to the digital optical input on the charging station of the headphones.
- For analog connection: Locate the analog audio output on your TV (usually a red and white RCA output) and connect one end of the analog cable to it. Then, connect the other end of the cable to the analog input on the charging station of the headphones.
3. Power on the headphones: Once you have made the necessary connections, switch on the headphones. They will automatically connect with the dock and you will be able to hear the TV's audio through the headphones.
Note: If you experience any static noise from the headphones, you may need to adjust the digital audio output settings on your TV. Go to the menu settings, navigate to the sound sub-menu, and find the Digital Audio Output option. Choose PCM from the list and try your headphones again.
