The Eoxsmile NOAA Weather Radio can be charged using five different power sources:
1. Hand Crank Power: Unfold the crank handle from the backside of the radio and rotate it in either direction. Rotate the crank handle at a speed of 2 laps per second to generate 300-350mA electricity and charge the built-in 5000mAh rechargeable battery.
2. Solar Power: Expose the solar panel to sunlight. It will generate 30-50mA electricity to charge the built-in battery. Please note that solar power is mainly used for maintaining the rechargeable battery and may not fully charge it.
3. Micro USB Adapter Charging input: Connect the included USB cable to a regular AC power adapter (not included) and plug it into the Micro USB port of the radio. Plug the AC adapter into a 110-220V standard outlet. It is recommended to use a 5V/2A AC power adapter.
4. Li-ion Rechargeable Battery: The radio comes with a built-in 5000mAh rechargeable battery. It can be charged using the hand crank, solar power, or micro USB input.
5. AAA Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the radio and insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) with the correct polarity. Set the Power Selector to AAA to use the batteries as a power source.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions on charging the radio and the recommended charging times for each power source.
