To connect your iLive 5.1 Home Theater System to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available connections on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. RCA Connection:
- Connect the RCA stereo audio cable from the RCA stereo outputs on your TV to the RCA stereo inputs on the subwoofer.
- Power on the speaker and press the SOURCE or AUX button on the remote control to select AUX mode.
- This will send the audio signal from your TV to all the speakers in the system, creating a surround sound effect.
2. Bluetooth Connection:
- Power on the speaker and press the SOURCE or REMOTE button to select BLUETOOTH mode.
- Press the PAIR button on the subwoofer until the pairing indicator starts flashing quickly.
- On your TV, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "iLive 5.1" or "IHTB138" to pair.
- Once paired, a chime will sound, and the pairing indicator will turn solid blue. Audio should now play through the speakers.
3. 5.1 Surround Sound Connection:
- If your TV has 5.1 surround sound analog audio outputs, use the 6 audio inputs on the subwoofer.
- Connect the RCA audio cables from the audio outputs on your TV to the corresponding inputs on the subwoofer.
- Power on the speaker and press the SOURCE or 5.1 CH button to select 5.1 SURROUND SOUND mode.
- This will enable the full 5.1 surround sound experience with separate audio channels for each speaker.
