To rip CDs onto the Brennan B2, follow these steps:
1. Insert the CD into the Brennan B2's CD drive.
2. Press the "Load" button on the front panel of the B2.
3. The B2 will automatically start ripping the CD onto its hard disk. This process may take a few minutes.
4. Once the ripping is complete, the track, album, and artist names will be allocated from the internet database.
5. You can now search for and access your music by name on the B2.
The Brennan B2 uses FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) compression to maintain an exact copy of what is on the CD. This ensures that you have high-quality, lossless duplicates of your CDs on the B2's hard disk. The 480GB model can hold up to 5,000 CDs in FLAC format.
For more detailed instructions and information, please refer to the Brennan B2 user manual.
