I recently purchased the DIRECTV RC73 remote and I'm not sure if it is RF or IR. How can I determine this?

To determine if your DIRECTV remote is RF or IR, you can look for a light on the front of the remote. If you see a light coming from the front of the remote, then it is an IR remote.
