To change the battery in the Apple TV Remote, follow these steps:
1. Turn the remote over to the back side.
2. Locate the battery panel on the back of the remote.
3. Using your thumb and index finger, turn the panel one-quarter turn counter-clockwise to unlock it.
4. Remove the panel to access the battery compartment.
5. Take out the old battery and replace it with a new alkaline battery of the same type (usually a coin battery).
6. Make sure the battery is inserted correctly, with the positive (+) side facing up.
7. Place the battery panel back onto the remote and turn it one-quarter turn clockwise to lock it in place.
