To connect the Avantree HT5006 wireless earbuds to your TV, you will need to follow these steps:
1. Power up the transmitter: Connect the transmitter to a TV USB port or any other USB charger that supports 5V/500mA-2A.
2. Turn on both devices: Slide the mode switch on the transmitter to the "TX" position. The "TX" LED will start flashing white. Press and hold the call button on the headphones for 2 seconds until the blue LED light appears.
3. Auto-reconnect: The headphones and transmitter will automatically reconnect. The headphones will say "Welcome to Avantree. Connected," and the transmitter will say "Connected. Ready for use." The "TX" LED will stop flashing, and the "A" LED will light up.
4. Choose the appropriate TV output option: Depending on your TV's output options, follow the instructions below:
- TVs with optical audio out: Ensure the transmitter LED "OPT" is on. If not, short press the AUX OPT button once. Make sure your TV speaker is set to "External Speaker," and the TV audio format is set to "PCM" or "DOLBY/DTS" is off.
- TVs with AUX/3.5mm audio out: Make sure the "AUX" LED is on. If not, short press the AUX OPT button once to select AUX audio. Ensure your TV speaker is set to "Headset."
- TVs with RCA audio out (red/white ports labeled "AUDIO OUT"): Make sure the "AUX" LED is on. If not, short press the AUX OPT button once to select AUX audio. Use the TV red/white ports labeled "AUDIO OUT." Ensure your TV speaker is set to "External Speaker."
Note: Do not use the RCA ports on the back of your AV receiver. Only use the big 6.35mm phone out located in the front of your AV receiver with the 6.35mm to 3.5mm adapter (not included).
