To change the password on the SamYerSafe SY-17CI-B1 Electronic Digital Security Safe, follow these steps:
1. Open the safe using the current password or the manual key.
2. Once the safe is open, locate the control panel on the inside of the door.
3. Press the "Reset" button on the control panel. This will clear the current password.
4. After pressing the "Reset" button, the display will prompt you to enter a new password.
5. Enter your desired new password using the touchpad on the control panel. The password can be any combination of numbers.
6. After entering the new password, press the "Enter" button on the control panel to confirm.
7. The display will then prompt you to re-enter the new password for confirmation.
8. Enter the new password again and press the "Enter" button to confirm.
9. The display will show "Password Changed" to indicate that the password has been successfully changed.
10. Close the safe and test the new password to ensure it works correctly.
