To set up a password for the Voncabay Security Safe Box, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Unbox the Safe: Carefully take the safe and all of its parts out of the box.
2. Check the Contents: Make sure the user instructions, override keys, battery compartment cover, and safe are all included.
3. Take Off the Override Key Cover: Find the cover and take it off to get to the override key slot for the first hole.
4. Insert Backup Key: To open the safe for the first time, use the backup key in case of an emergency.
5. To open the battery section, take off the cover that goes over it. This is usually done on the back or bottom of the safe.
6. Insert Batteries: Put 4 AA batteries in the battery compartment, making sure they are in the right way by following the marks inside.
7. Replace the Battery Cover: Once the batteries are in, put the cover back on top of the battery chamber.
8. Press the restart Button: To get ready to set up a password, find the restart button and press it.
9. Type in the new password: Within 15 seconds, type in the password you want to use, then press "E" to confirm.
10. Clear Wrong Entries: If you enter the wrong number, press "C" to clear the password and try again.
11. Look over the password: Close the safe and make sure the new password works by testing it.
12. Safely Store Backup Keys: Keep the backup keys somewhere safe outside the safe so they are easy to get to if you need to.
13. Check for Functionality: Before regular use, make sure that the sensor light and keyboard work properly.
14. Learn how the closing mechanism works. Know how to use both the digital keypad and the backup key to open the door.
15. Protect Your Valuables: Once the safe is set up, put your valuables inside and close it firmly.
