The installation process for the LaserMax LC9 CENTERFIRE Laser Sight is straightforward and can be done without gunsmithing. Here are the steps to install the laser sight:
1. Ensure that the firearm is unloaded, following the instructions in the firearm operator's manual.
2. Place the right housing onto the trigger guard of the pistol, making sure that the rear portion of the right housing is securely positioned and the trigger guard is aligned with the channel in the light housing.
3. Press the right housing firmly in place by applying upward pressure to the ear portion until the housing snaps into place.
4. Insert the rear portion of the left housing into the right housing at a 45-degree angle.
5. Mate the left housing with the right housing, ensuring that the activation switch passes through the opening in the left housing. Press the housings together to remove any gap.
6. Install two mounting screws into the left housing using a Phillips screwdriver. Start with the xxxx closest to the barrel and then tighten each mounting xxxx until secure. Be careful not to over-tighten, as this may damage the CenterFire housing.
