To turn on the Mr. Christmas 79790 World's Fair Grand Ferris Wheel, follow these steps:
1. Gently lift the unit from the packaging, making sure not to lift it by holding any attached figures or parts.
2. Place the unit on any flat surface.
3. Insert the adapter plug into the unit jack at the rear of the unit.
4. Plug the adapter into a nearby working outlet. Ensure the adapter is correctly oriented in a vertical or floor-mount position.
5. Slide the switch from OFF to ON to turn on the unit.
6. Adjust the volume of the music by turning the VOLUME dial. Note that when the volume dial is at its minimum setting, no music can be heard.
7. Use the CHRISTMAS CAROLS / YEAR-ROUND SONGS switch to select the type of music you wish to hear.
8. The first song is selected randomly each time the unit is turned on. To switch to a new song immediately, either push the PUSH FOR NEW SONG button or turn the unit OFF and then ON again.
9. Push the switch to either STEADY or LIGHT to select the light effect. The lights remain steady on in the STEADY option and flash in a light show on the LIGHT option.
