To turn on the PREXISO P1P20 2-in-1 Laser Level, follow these steps:
1. Insert the batteries: Open the battery compartment lid located at the rear of the tool using a screwdriver. Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, paying attention to the correct polarity as indicated on the metal plate inside the lid.
2. Power on the tool: Locate the ON/OFF switch with the operating-mode selector, which is labeled as "B" in the parts diagram. Push the switch to the ON position. The measuring tool will emit a laser beam either from the point laser outlet or the line laser outlet, depending on the mode selected.
3. Switch between point and line mode: If you want to switch between point and line mode, push the ON/OFF switch again. Each push of the switch will alternate between the two modes.
4. Power off the tool: If you want to turn off the tool, push the ON/OFF switch for the third time. The device will power off.
Note: The distance between the spot outlet and the magnetic base is approximately 3/4 inch (2cm).
