To connect the Polk Audio T15 speakers to your receiver, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your receiver or amplifier is turned off and unplugged.
2. Identify the red (+) and black (-) connectors on your receiver and speakers.
3. Loosen the hex nut on the binding post connectors of the speakers.
4. Insert the bare speaker wire through the hole in the binding post connector.
5. Tighten the hex nut to secure the connection. Make sure the wire is securely fastened and there is no insulated section of wire inserted into the hole.
6. Repeat the process for each speaker, ensuring that the red (+) and black (-) connectors on the receiver match with the corresponding connectors on the speakers.
7. Once all the connections are made, double-check that all the wires are securely connected and there are no loose connections.
8. Plug in and turn on your receiver or amplifier.
Note: If your speakers sound "thin" or lack bass, check that the speaker wires are connected correctly. Reversing the polarity of the speaker wires can cause a decrease in bass response and center image.
