To connect your Polk Signa S2 soundbar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps:
1. Check if your TV has an HDMI port labeled "ARC" (Audio Return Channel). If it does, follow these steps:
a. Connect the included HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on both the TV and the soundbar.
b. Make sure your TV's internal speakers are turned off to ensure audio is routed through the soundbar.
2. If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port, you can use an optical cable:
a. Connect one end of the included optical cable to the optical output on your TV.
b. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical input on the soundbar.
c. Make sure your TV's internal speakers are turned off.
3. If you prefer to use an AUX connection, you can use a 3.5mm audio cable:
a. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the headphone or audio output on your TV.
b. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the AUX input on the soundbar.
