To change the dust bag in the Sanitaire SC3683B Canister Vacuum, follow these steps:
1. Turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
2. Open the lid by pushing down the hood latch.
3. Fold the bag closure flap down and push it behind the rubber seal.
4. Insert your finger into the upper left notch and pull out and remove the bag.
5. Dispose of the old bag properly.
6. If needed, clean the motor filter by rinsing it under warm water and let it air dry if heavily soiled.
7. Open the new bag folds slightly.
8. Place the new bag in the cleaner.
9. Tuck the bag corners under the collar.
10. Swing the bag cover closed and push it to latch securely.
Make sure to always turn off and unplug the vacuum before changing the dust bag. Never operate the vacuum cleaner without the dust bag or filter.
