To replace the batteries in the Fisher-Price GRT59 Koala Plush Sound Machine, follow these steps:
1. Open the fasteners on the back of the toy and pull to remove the electronic unit.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the xxxx in the battery compartment door and remove the door.
3. Take out the exhausted batteries and dispose of them properly.
4. Insert four new AA (LR6) alkaline batteries into the battery compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the xxxx . Do not over-tighten.
6. If the toy is not functioning properly or the music, sound, or motion becomes faint or stops, it may be a sign that the batteries need to be replaced.
7. If the toy operates erratically, you can try resetting the electronics by removing and reinstalling the batteries.
8. Fit the electronic unit back into the toy, ensuring that the speaker is facing the front.
9. Before closing the fasteners, make any desired music/sounds/motion selections and adjust the volume.
Please note that the batteries included with the toy are for demonstration purposes only and may not have a long lifespan. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
