To connect the Yamaha FC4A Piano Sustain Foot Pedal to your keyboard or digital piano, please follow these steps:
1. Locate the pedal input on your keyboard or digital piano. This is typically labeled as "Sustain" or "Damper."
2. Plug the 1/4" TRS connector on the FC4A pedal into the appropriate pedal input on your keyboard or digital piano. Ensure that the plug is securely inserted into the socket.
3. Position the pedal on the floor in a comfortable position where you can easily press it while playing. Make sure the rubber non-slip base is in contact with the floor to prevent the pedal from sliding during use.
4. Once the pedal is connected and positioned, you can start using it during your playing. Press the pedal to sustain notes, just like you would on a traditional acoustic piano. Release the pedal to stop the sustain effect.
