To connect the Makeblock 25ft mBot Robot Kit to your computer, you have two options: using a USB cable or a Bluetooth connection.
1. USB Connection:
- Ensure that the mBot is powered on either by inserting 4 AA batteries or connecting it to a power source using the USB cable.
- Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on your computer and the other end to the mBot's USB port.
- Launch the mBlock programming software on your computer.
- In the software, go to the "Connect" menu and select the appropriate serial port for the mBot.
- Once the connection is established, you can start programming and controlling the mBot from your computer.
2. Bluetooth Connection:
- Ensure that the mBot is powered on and that the Bluetooth dongle is plugged into your computer.
- Launch the mBlock programming software on your computer.
- In the software, go to the "Connect" menu and select the Bluetooth option.
- The software will search for available Bluetooth devices. Select the mBot from the list.
- Once the connection is established, you can start programming and controlling the mBot wirelessly from your computer.
Note: If you are using the Bluetooth connection, make sure that the mBot and your computer are within the Bluetooth range of 25ft for a stable connection.
