To pair the ATOTO AC-44F5 remote with your ATOTO head unit, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your car stereo is powered on and the IR receiver is properly plugged into the Steering Wheel Control (SWC) 3.5mm jack socket on the back of the stereo. It's important to have a clear line of sight between the remote and the IR receiver.
2. Turn on the AC-44F5 remote by pressing any button. The remote should enter pairing mode.
3. On your ATOTO head unit, navigate to the settings menu. Look for the "Steering Wheel Control" or "SWC" option.
4. Within the SWC settings, select the option to pair a new remote control. The head unit will start searching for available remotes.
5. Hold the AC-44F5 remote close to the IR receiver and press and hold any button for a few seconds. This will initiate the pairing process.
6. Once the head unit detects the remote, it will display a confirmation message on the screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
7. After successful pairing, test the remote by pressing various buttons to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Note: If the remote does not pair with the head unit, make sure the remote is within range, the IR receiver is correctly connected, and try re-pairing the remote with the head unit.
