The MODERN STEP 660Lb Hanging Scale does not require manual calibration as it is pre-calibrated at the factory. However, if you suspect that the scale is not displaying accurate readings, you can perform a simple zero calibration to reset the scale.
Here are the steps to calibrate the scale:
1. Ensure that the scale is turned off.
2. Press and hold the "TARE" button.
3. While holding the "TARE" button, press the "On/Off" button to turn on the scale.
4. Continue holding the "TARE" button until the display shows "CAL" or "0.0".
5. Release the "TARE" button.
6. The scale will now be in calibration mode.
7. Place a known weight object on the scale that is within the scale's capacity (e.g., a 10-pound weight).
8. Wait for the scale to stabilize and display the weight.
9. Press the "TARE" button to confirm the calibration.
10. The scale will now be calibrated and ready for use.
