To install the Aqueon 100106237 Flexible LED Bubble Wand in your tank, follow these steps:
1. Choose a location in your aquarium for the bubble wand. If you plan to place it on the aquarium bottom, remove any gravel or debris from the chosen location.
2. Attach the LED Bubble Wand to the bottom of the aquarium using the suction cups provided. Make sure the female transformer connector remains dry and is not submerged in aquarium water.
3. Connect airline tubing (not included) to the airline inlet on the LED Bubble Wand.
4. Connect the opposite end of the airline tubing to a check valve (not included). This check valve helps prevent water from flowing back into the air pump.
5. Connect an additional piece of airline tubing from the opposite end of the check valve to your air pump's output. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, warnings, and safeguards when installing the air pump.
6. Connect the female transformer connector on the LED Bubble Wand to the male transformer connector on the transformer.
7. Plug in the air pump's power cord and the LED Bubble Wand transformer into a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet. Make sure to utilize a drip loop to prevent water from dripping onto the plug or receptacle. Refer to the safety instructions in the manual for more details on creating a drip loop.
Once installed, the Aqueon 100106237 Flexible LED Bubble Wand will generate bubbles that enhance water circulation and improve oxygenation in your aquarium, providing a visually appealing effect. For maintenance and cleaning instructions, refer to the manual.
