To set up the Fluval 15004 Flex 9 Aquarium Kit, follow these steps:
1. Thoroughly rinse the aquarium, cover, and remove media from poly bags using fresh water and a damp cloth. Do not use soap as it is harmful to fish.
2. Place the aquarium on a level and sturdy surface away from direct sunlight, drafts, heat sources, or high traffic areas. Position the anti-slip pad on the surface before placing the aquarium.
3. Position the filter media and pump. Affix the pump to the tubing and lower it into the corner of the rear chamber. Feed the output nozzle through the hole in the filter wall and xxxx it into the elbow.
4. When filling the aquarium with water, add the correct doses of Fluval Water Conditioner, tap water conditioner, and Fluval Biological Enhancer (sold separately).
5. If adding a heater, affix it into the pump chamber (sold separately).
