To set the temperature on the Hygger HG-802 Pinpoint Saltwater Aquarium Heater, please follow these steps:
1. Plug in the power adapter (different from the heating rod power adapter) to a power source.
2. Press the "up" key on the temperature controller to choose between Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) mode.
3. Press and hold the "set" key for several seconds until the setting temperature number starts flashing on the display.
4. Use the "up" or "down" key to adjust the temperature to your desired setting.
5. Press the "set" key again for about one second to confirm the temperature setting.
6. The heating indicator will turn on when the heating rod is working and turn off when it stops working.
7. The heating rod will automatically stop heating when the water temperature reaches the set temperature, and it will start heating again when the water temperature drops below the set temperature.
Please note that there may be a slight difference between the temperature displayed on the controller and the actual water temperature, so it is recommended to use a separate thermometer for accurate readings.
