Installing the Fluval 11206 EDGE Digital Aquarium Thermometer is a simple process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Start by cleaning the outside of your aquarium glass where you want to attach the thermometer. Ensure that the surface is free from any dirt or debris.
2. Take the thermometer and locate the adhesive backing. This is the sticky part that will attach the thermometer to the glass.
3. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive backing to expose the sticky surface.
4. Position the thermometer on the outside of the aquarium glass at the desired location. Make sure it is at a level where it will be submerged in the water for accurate temperature readings.
5. Press the thermometer firmly against the glass to ensure a secure attachment. The adhesive backing should stick to the glass surface.
6. Once attached, the thermometer will start displaying the water temperature on the digital LCD screen.
Note: It is important to place the thermometer in a stable part of the tank where the water temperature is more uniform. Avoid areas with fluctuating water currents or temperature extremes for accurate readings.
