To use the ARB ARB601 Digital Tire Inflator to inflate your tires, follow these steps:
1. Unbox the Inflator: Take the ARB ARB601 out of its package and ensure that all parts, including the batteries, are included.
2. Install Batteries: Insert the two AAA batteries into the battery compartment, following the marked polarity.
3. Connect to Hose: Ensure that the fittings on the 600mm braided hose are tight when connecting it to the inflator.
4. Connect to Valve Stem: Attach the chuck end of the hose to the valve stem of the tire, ensuring a tight fit to prevent air leakage.
5. Power On: When the inflator is connected to a tire, it will turn on automatically. If it doesn't, press the start button manually.
6. Choose Measurement Unit: Press the display button to change the unit to PSI, Bar, KPa, or KgF.
7. Check Current Pressure: Once the tire is connected, the digital monitor will display the tire's current pressure.
8. Inflate if Needed: To add air to the tire, press and hold the inflator button with your thumb. Release the button to check the new pressure.
9. Deflate if Needed: If the tire is overinflated, use the deflator's bleed button to release excess air.
10. Monitor the Screen: Always check the pressure displayed on the backlit digital screen to ensure the settings are correct.
11. Remove the Inflator: Carefully detach the hose from the valve stem once the desired pressure is reached.
12. Power Off: The inflator will turn off automatically when not in use for a while. You can also manually turn it off.
13. Store in Bag: To keep the inflator and hose safe, place them in the provided travel bag.
It is important to regularly calibrate the inflator's precision using a calibrated gauge and perform routine maintenance as outlined in the manual to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
