Replacing the batteries in the Bright Zeal 11831 IP44 Waterproof Vintage Lantern is a simple process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the lantern. It is usually located on the bottom or back of the lantern.
2. Use a screwdriver or coin to open the battery compartment cover. Twist it counterclockwise to remove it.
3. Take out the old batteries from the compartment. Make sure to dispose of them properly.
4. Insert three new AAA batteries into the compartment. Ensure that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends are aligned correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover by twisting it clockwise until it is securely closed.
6. Test the lantern by turning it on. If it does not light up, double-check the battery placement and ensure they are inserted correctly.
