To set the torque alarm value on the ACDelco ARM602-4 Digital Torque Adapter, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the Power Button (C/S: Clear/Start) for more than 2 seconds to enter Set Mode.
2. Once in Set Mode, the digits on the display will start blinking.
3. Use the Up Button and Down Button to adjust the target torque value. Press the Up Button to increase the value and the Down Button to decrease it. You can adjust the value discontinuously or continuously by pressing and releasing the buttons.
4. When the desired target torque value is displayed, press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds to confirm your selection. Alternatively, you can wait for 5 seconds, and the system will automatically confirm your selection.
5. The torque alarm value is now set. When the applied torque reaches or exceeds this value, the adapter will emit a high-frequency buzzer to alert you not to apply further torque.
Note: When you are approaching -10% units before the target torque value, an intermittent buzzer will start to warn you. Once the target torque value is reached, the high-frequency buzzer will warn you not to pull further.
