To change the measurement unit on the iGaging 100-700-60 Electronic Digital Caliper, follow these steps:
1. Press the "in/mm" key on the caliper. This key is located on the function keys section of the caliper.
2. Each press of the "in/mm" key will toggle between inches and millimeters. The current measurement unit will be displayed on the LCD screen.
3. Keep pressing the "in/mm" key until the desired measurement unit is displayed.
4. The caliper will now display measurements in the selected unit (inches or millimeters) until the measurement unit is changed again.
Note: It is important to ensure that the caliper is set to the correct measurement unit before taking any measurements to ensure accurate results.
