To turn on the TomCare SZ-18024 Metal Flickering Flame Solar Lights, you need to ensure that the switch is set to the "ON" position. Before first use, locate the switch on the lantern and slide it to the ON position. You can test if the lights are working by covering the solar panel with your hand to simulate darkness. If the lights turn on, it means they are functioning properly. Once the switch is set to ON, the lights will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn, thanks to the built-in light sensor.
