To turn on the VTech 80-166300 Stack and Sing Rings, you need to slide the ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH located on the side of the toy. Slide the switch to either the LOW VOLUME ( ) or the HIGH VOLUME ( ) position to turn the unit on. You should hear playful sounds, a song, and a fun phrase when it powers on. The light on the toy will also flash with the sound. If the toy doesn't turn on, make sure you have installed 2 new AAA batteries following the instructions in the manual. If the problem persists, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones and ensure they are correctly inserted.
