To change the battery in the FineSource DC-HKC Digital Vernier Caliper, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the caliper is turned off. If it is currently on, slide the measuring jaws or press the power button to turn it off.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the caliper. It is usually a small, rectangular compartment with a xxxx or latch.
3. Use a small screwdriver or your fingers to open the battery compartment.
4. Take out the old LR44 battery from the compartment. Pay attention to the battery's orientation, as indicated by the "+" and "-" symbols on the battery and inside the compartment.
5. Insert a new LR44 battery into the compartment, making sure it is placed in the correct orientation.
6. Close the battery compartment securely, either by tightening the xxxx or latching it shut.
7. Turn on the caliper to check if the new battery is working properly. The display should turn on and show the zero reading.
Note: It is recommended to use LR44 batteries for optimal performance. If you are unsure about the battery type or need further assistance, refer to the user manual or contact FineSource customer support for guidance.
Remember to dispose of the old battery properly and follow any local regulations for battery recycling.
