To change the batteries in the Eveready E304125000 Water-Resistant LED Lantern, please follow these steps:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the lantern. It is secured with a latch or xxxx .
2. If there is a latch, slide it to unlock the battery compartment. If there is a xxxx , use a suitable screwdriver to loosen and remove it.
3. Open the battery compartment by lifting the cover or sliding it off.
4. Remove the old batteries from the compartment. Pay attention to their orientation and make a note of how they are inserted.
5. Take three new D-cell alkaline batteries and ensure they are fresh and fully charged.
6. Insert the new batteries into the compartment, following the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment. Align the positive (+) end of the batteries with the positive terminal and the negative (-) end with the negative terminal.
7. Close the battery compartment by replacing the cover or sliding it back into place.
8. If there was a latch, slide it to lock the battery compartment. If there was a xxxx , use a screwdriver to tighten it securely.
9. Test the lantern by turning it on to ensure the new batteries are working properly.
Note: Always handle batteries with care and dispose of them properly according to local regulations. Avoid mixing old and new batteries or different types of batteries. It is recommended to replace all batteries at the same time for optimal performance.
