To replace the batteries in the Enbrighten 11016 LED Lantern, please follow these steps:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the lantern.
2. Use your fingers or a small tool to gently slide the battery compartment cover in the direction indicated by the arrow.
3. Lift the battery compartment cover to reveal the battery slots.
4. Remove the old batteries from the slots, taking note of their orientation.
5. Insert four new D-cell batteries into the slots, ensuring they are inserted with the correct polarity (+ and -).
6. Close the battery compartment cover and slide it back into place until it clicks securely.
Please note that the Enbrighten 11016 LED Lantern requires four D-cell batteries, which are not included with the lantern. It is recommended to use fresh batteries for optimal performance.
