To turn on the VTech 80-181100 Explore and Crawl Learning Cub, follow these steps:
1. Locate the ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH on the battery box inside the bottom of the bear.
2. Slide the switch to the LOW VOLUME ( ) or HIGH VOLUME ( ) position to turn the unit ON.
3. You will hear a playful sound, a song, and welcoming phrases. The light will flash, and the bear will start crawling forward.
If the toy does not turn on after following these steps, please ensure that you have installed fresh batteries and that they are properly inserted. If the issue persists, check for any signs of corrosion or dirt on the battery contacts and clean them if necessary.
