To connect the K KRIËGER KR1100 Power Inverter to a battery, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the inverter is turned off before making any connections.
2. Prepare the cables by attaching ring terminals to the battery ends of the cables.
3. Install one fuse holder with a fuse in the positive cable close to the battery bank end.
4. Connect the negative cable to the negative (-) terminal of the battery bank.
5. Connect the negative cable to the negative (-) terminal of the inverter.
6. Insulate the end of the cable that will be connected to the positive (+) inverter terminal.
7. Connect the fused cable to the positive (+) terminal of the battery bank.
8. Connect the positive cable end to the positive (+) inverter terminal.
Note: Sparking is normal for the first connection. Make sure you have good secure connections, but do not over-tighten.
It is important to ensure correct polarity when making the connections. The positive cable should be connected to the positive terminal of the battery and the inverter, and the negative cable should be connected to the negative terminal of the battery and the inverter.
