To replace the batteries in the Fisher-Price DHC45 Around the Town Learning Table, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have a Phillips screwdriver (not included) for battery replacement.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the toy.
3. Use the Phillips screwdriver to loosen the xxxx in the battery compartment door and remove the door.
4. Remove the exhausted batteries from the compartment and dispose of them properly.
5. Insert three new AA (LR6) alkaline batteries into the compartment, making sure to match the polarity markings.
6. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the xxxx securely.
7. If the toy begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Slide the power/volume switch off and back on.
8. It's important to note that the batteries included with the toy are for demonstration purposes only and may not have a long lifespan. For longer battery life, it is recommended to use alkaline batteries.
