To set the timer on the GiveU HWT13001-S2 LED Pillar Plastic Flickering Candles, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the candle is turned on by sliding the power switch on the bottom of the candle to the "4/8 hour" position.
2. Slide the power switch to the "4 / 8 TIMER" position. The candle will remain on for 4 hours from the time you place the candle in "4 /8 TIMER" mode, and then automatically turn off for 20 / 16 hours. It will repeat the same cycle daily.
3. To reset the timer, slide the power switch to the "OFF" position and then to the "4 / 8 TIMER" at the desired start time.
If you have the remote control, you can also set the timer using it:
1. Turn the candle on by sliding the power switch on the bottom of the candle to either the 4 or 8-hour position.
2. Remove the battery insulation sheet from the back of the remote control.
3. When the candle is ON, press the corresponding timer button on the remote control (2H, 4H, 6H, or 8H) to set the candle's "burning" time.
4. Once the timer is set, the flickering candle will be ON for the selected number of hours and will remain OFF for the corresponding number of hours, turning back ON automatically at the same time the following day.
Remember to replace the batteries periodically to ensure optimal performance and to remove the batteries if you plan on not using the candles for longer periods to prevent leakage.
