To change the batteries in the Bright Starts 52179-2 Light & Learn Drum, follow these steps:
1. Locate the battery compartment at the back of the drum.
2. Use a screwdriver or coin to open the battery compartment by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Remove the old batteries from the compartment.
4. Insert three AAA batteries into the compartment, making sure to match the polarity symbols (+ and -) on the batteries with the markings inside the compartment.
5. Close the battery compartment by turning it clockwise until it is securely fastened.
6. Test the drum to see if the lights and sounds are working properly with the new batteries.
If the lights and sounds still do not work after replacing the batteries, there may be another issue with the drum. In that case, refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual or contact Bright Starts' customer service for further assistance.
