To replace the batteries in the Fisher-Price FDF22 Laugh and Learn Smart Stages Sis, follow these steps:
1. Open the fasteners on the back of the toy to access the battery compartment.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the xxxx in the battery compartment door and remove the door.
3. Remove the old batteries and properly dispose of them.
4. Insert three new AA (LR6) alkaline batteries into the compartment, making sure to match the correct polarity (+/-).
5. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the xxxx , but do not over-tighten.
6. Close the fasteners on the toy.
7. If the toy begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Slide the power/volume switch off and back on.
8. When the lights and sounds become faint or stop, it's time to change the batteries again.
