To calibrate the touch screen on your LeapPad2 Explorer, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Parent Settings menu. You can access this menu by pressing the volume up and Home button at the same time when the sign-in menu appears. Hold the buttons for at least one second.
2. In the Parent Settings menu, the Screen Calibration option should be highlighted by default. Tap on Screen Calibration to select it.
3. As you tap on the screen, crosshairs will appear at different locations. Touch each of the crosshairs with the stylus as they appear (there will be a total of 5 crosshairs).
4. After touching all the crosshairs, press the "check" button to exit the Parent menu and return to the sign-in screen.
By calibrating the touch screen, you should be able to resolve any issues with the stylus not accurately registering your touch. If the problem persists after calibration, you may need to contact LeapFrog Consumer Services for further assistance.
