To install the batteries in the Educational Insights EI-5301 Microscope Set, please follow these steps:
1. Loosen the screws in the bottom cover of the microscope and remove the cover.
2. Inside the battery compartment, you will see two slots for AA batteries.
3. Insert two AA batteries into the slots, following the diagram inside the compartment to ensure correct polarity.
4. Make sure to align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries with the corresponding markings in the compartment.
5. Do not mix old and new batteries, and avoid mixing different types of batteries (e.g., alkaline, standard, or rechargeable).
6. Replace the bottom cover and tighten the screws, but do not over-tighten.
7. Your microscope is now ready to use with the batteries installed.
Please note that non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged, and it is recommended to remove the batteries from the microscope if it will not be used for more than two weeks to prevent corrosion and potential damage to the product.
