To clean the PETNF PF044 Cat Water Fountain, follow these steps:
1. Disassemble the fountain by removing all the components, including the water tank, water bowl, outlet pipe, pump, filter, and lid.
2. Rinse the water tank and all accessories with running water, except for the USB interface and adapter.
3. Soak the filter in water for 10 minutes and rinse it thoroughly under running water before use. It is recommended to replace the filter every 2 weeks.
4. Use a cleaning brush to clean the elbow area of the fountain.
5. Use a soft cloth to clean the water tank and all accessories.
6. Disconnect the power outlet before cleaning.
7. If necessary, you can disassemble the submersible pump for a more thorough cleaning. Refer to the disassembling method shown in the manual.
8. Clean the sponge of the pump once a week and clean the water pump every 2 weeks to extend its life.
