To change the batteries in the Leapfrog 80-610700 Smart Handy Dandy Notebook, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the unit is turned off.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit.
3. Use a screwdriver to loosen the xxxx and open the battery box.
4. Remove the old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
5. Install 3 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. It is recommended to use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
6. Replace the battery cover and tighten the xxxx to secure it.
It is important to note that you should not mix different types of batteries (alkaline, standard, or rechargeable) or new and used batteries. Also, remember to remove exhausted batteries during long periods of non-use and dispose of them properly.
