To replace the batteries in the Educational Insights 2391 Learn to Read Interactive Pen, follow these steps:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the pen.
2. Open the battery compartment by sliding or lifting the cover, depending on the design of the pen.
3. Take out the old batteries, if present, and dispose of them properly.
4. Insert two new AAA batteries into the battery compartment, making sure to align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
5. Close the battery compartment securely by sliding or pressing the cover back into place.
6. Test the pen by turning it on and checking if it functions properly.
