To replace the batteries in the Basic Fun 1694 Fisher Price Classics Retro Chatter Phone, please follow these steps:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the phone. It is usually secured with a small xxxx or latch.
2. Use a screwdriver or your fingers to open the battery compartment. Be careful not to force it open or damage any parts.
3. Inside the battery compartment, you will see two slots for AA batteries. Pay attention to the polarity markings (+ and -) to ensure the batteries are inserted correctly.
4. Insert two AA batteries into the slots, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) ends with the markings in the compartment.
