To insert the batteries into the Basic Fun 6001 Tonka Fire Truck, follow these steps:
1. Locate the battery compartment on the underbelly of the fire truck.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert two AAA batteries into the slots, following the polarity labels (+/-) inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover firmly to ensure it is fully latched.
