To change the batteries in the Baby Alive E3690 Interactive Baby Doll, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the doll is turned off by sliding the switch on her back to the "O" position.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the doll's back.
3. Use a small screwdriver or coin to open the battery compartment door.
4. Remove the old battery from the compartment.
5. Insert a new 1.5v AA (LR6) battery into the compartment, making sure to match the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
6. Close the battery compartment door securely.
7. Slide the switch on the doll's back to the "|" position to turn her back on.
If the sounds are still not working properly after replacing the batteries, make sure the battery contacts are clean and free from corrosion. If necessary, clean the contacts with a soft cloth or cotton swab.
