I just received my Boakboary 24 LED Flickering Votive Candles, but I can't figure out how to turn them on. The manual doesn't provide clear instructions. Can you help?

To turn on the Boakboary 24 LED Flickering Votive Candles, locate the switch at the bottom of each candle. Slide the switch to the "on" position to activate the flickering effect. If the candles do not light up, make sure the batteries are properly inserted and replace them if necessary.
