To connect the DEWALT DXAEPI140 power inverter to your vehicle, follow these steps:
1. Locate the 12V DC accessory plug on the front of the power inverter (labeled A in the diagram).
2. Plug the 12V DC accessory plug into your vehicle's 12V DC power outlet, also known as the cigarette lighter socket.
3. Ensure that the plug is inserted securely and make sure there is good contact by rotating the plug slightly.
4. Press the on/off button (labeled D in the diagram) to turn the inverter on.
5. The power/fault LED indicator should light up blue, indicating a proper connection.
6. You can now use the three-prong 120-volt AC outlet (labeled B in the diagram) to plug in your appliances or the USB power ports (labeled C in the diagram) to charge your USB-powered devices.
Please note that it is important to make sure there is adequate space for proper ventilation of the inverter and to use it in a well-ventilated area. Also, be sure to turn off the inverter and disconnect it from the power source when not in use to avoid draining the vehicle's battery.
